We’re excited to announce that we have appointed a new CEO. We are very proud to inform you that as November 2021 Gregor Bierent is our new Chief Executive Officer.
Gregor is an exceptional leader with ample experience in building and advising digital businesses with strong focus on Digital Banking, as well he has a strong business development background, active internationally across Europe, Middle East and Africa.
Gregor studied Business Informatics and graduated at Technical University Vienna with a master’s degree. During his studies, he started his own IT advisory business for small and medium sized companies in the area of performance management and Business Intelligence in Austria, which took him to Enterprise Consulting with Capgemini Consulting or the US based IT & consulting company CIBER where he worked with Customers in the industries of Financial Service (Banking/Insurance), Telecommunication, Utilities and Oil & Gas across Central and Eastern Europe in management consulting and IT management roles.
As a managing director at New Frontier Group, he was involved with NF Innova as Member of the supervisory board from day one and gave us the strategic support on our international way. The last 6 years have been an incredible ride for NF Innova, growing from real startup to young professional and positioning ourselves as leader in the industry. From our beginnings as a startup, we’ve now grown into a professional company with international experience and customer base. We are in a positive trajectory and are well positioned to continue building on this strong momentum and keep shaping the Digital Banking space.
This is the right moment for a person such as Gregor to take the lead. With his experience and background, he’ll lead NF Innova into the next chapter of growth, where we’ll become an even more significant player in the digital banking industry.
Accepting the position, Gregor said that it is his pleasure to work more operationally than before with the engaged and motivated team in NF Innova and to leverage on what was achieved so far which will enable to shape future Digital Banking together with existing and new Customers. Fintech is here to stay and will drive the digital banking transformation of incumbent players, which are the key focus for NF Innova. Building with NF Innova product portfolio on new trends such as Embedded finance, Smart Banking or Digital SME Banking will further increase the value for our customers which is our main goal.
